Explaining who I am, what my strengths are and all that jazz is hard to do. I have been told that I am too humble or critical of myself as I always think I need to be better in what I do, or it’s just not there yet, or I see someone else's work that I think is incredible and I strive to achieve that. So I am in this endless quest to make and do everything better than my previous work and attempts. At times this can be maddening, but it fuels my obsession with photography and by the end of the day and several ounces of hair loss I am ultimately happy and I can sleep soundly knowing that I gave my clients my all, and that they got quality work. And that is what matters! 

So I suppose I should talk about my history, my passion, my gear, and etc..

Let’s begin with my history, and I will make this quick, I would not want to put you to sleep! Since I was a child, or rather a smaller and younger child than I am currently, I was in love with technology and cameras. My family always handed me the camera to load the film, or set up that camcorder and take the shots. Did not matter where, or what holiday I was always the least photographed or shot on camera since I was behind it 90% of the time, hell there were even a few Christmases that I do not think there is a single photo or video of me at all. Which looking back makes me laugh. Later on when I was a bit older, mid teens, my father gave me his Canon 35mm that he would never let me touch, and that he would never use, and I put it to work, learned the difference in films, focus, shutter, etc.. And back then with those cameras there were no auto settings and you only got as many chances as you had film, and there definitely was no Photoshop to adjust settings. Fast forward through the years, college, good and bad choices, bouncing between jobs, etc.. and here I am. I took that passion throughout my life and created a business out of it. And I could not be happier!

So I tend to focus primarily on photography, I love videography but still photography is where my heart is. To capture a photo of something at one point in time and freeze it forever to be seen indefinitely just amazes me. When I look at photos throughout history it is like being transported back and being behind that lens and seeing what not only the photographer saw, but what that photographer captured, saw, or felt is magical.

Along with my love of seeing the world through a lens is showing people how I do it. Now I am no Ansel Adams, or Stanley Kubrick, but if I can pass on my knowledge then I am happy to do it, and how things are today in the world, doing that also means I get to play around more with cameras to show people how I use cameras! It’s a win-win all around!

I have used a lot of different gear over the past few years since I started this professionally and since I aimed my business towards Real Estate as I saw there was a market in it, I based my gear around that. 

My primary camera that I use is a Panasonic Lumix GH5. This gives me the best of all worlds, an unbelievable amount of lenses, professional level lenses, all at a more affordable price range when compared to Canon, Sony, etc.. This camera is also fantastic at video being able to 4k/60 10-bit video. So it makes it very versatile, and I only need to carry one big camera. 

My 360 Camera that I use is the Trisio Lite 2. I have used all the Theta line of cameras, Insta360, and a few others and the Trisio Lite 2 is the best one. Offers reduced workflow, and great quality photos, at a price that is unheard of.

My 360 DSLR is just a simple Canon T7 with a 14mm fisheye lens, on a 360 pano head. You do not have to go crazy and take a second mortgage out to get amazing DSLR 360 photos. This setup is very cost effective. 

My secondary camera while on a shoot for quick detail shots is, don’t laugh, but a point shoot. The Panasonic Lumix ZS100. I can get the same color profile to my primary camera so it makes editing easier. It takes amazing photos, and it can even do 4k video. Plus it fits in my pocket.

I also have my iPad Pro for making Floorplans, and iPhone for some technical shots with video where window exposure is needed while still having an exposed interior. TIP: The iPhone 12 and newer video perfectly exposes windows and interior. If it was not for keeping up appearances with my clients, I think all of my real estate video tours would be done from my iPhone. 

My primary computer for editing is an Apple Mac Mini M1. The price to performance ratio on these little tiny computers is astounding! I can edit 4k raw video with no problem at all. Or edit giant 360 panos without a hiccup!

And of course there are various other types of gear that I use like lighting, stands, tripods, microphones, and etc.. But that would bore the life out of you.
